We had a visitor from Singapore a week ago, Hakimo Namoto, he is the recent winner of LADDER TO TDC Malaysia in the rwd class, and this is his winning chassis ... its looks concentrate more on function than fancy bling and boy did this thing hoon around the track. At the end of our session i took the time take a few snaps!!
^
Large amounts caster make them wheels leeean back.
^
In his part of the world they concentrate on very rear weight bias chassis.
^
Custom fit battery tray sits high for some weight shifting, compared to having it sit lower to the ground.
^
Like i was saying they really concentrate on the rear, centralised motor, ESC sits up the back and lots of added weight up the back.
^
nice mod with the original motor mount to make the motor sit up high and make it more centre.
^
No issues in this department, that lead wheel, that ackerman, that lock .... very nice!!
^
This thing was a blast to drive on our track, lots of rear traction and built for understeer and he runs FFF zero's on all fours, its nice to get an idea of how they doing things in other parts of the world, we see, we hear about it but to see it it person is such a delight ... this is a competition style tuned car which was tons of fun the drive ... very very interesting!!.
Thanks for the drive Hakimo Namoto
